The Aspesi Field Jacket

Aspesi was founded in 1969 by designer Alberto Aspesi, who was born in Varese, Italy. The company initially produced high quality men’s shirts but was soon transformed into the brand it is known as today

The focus has shifted from shirting to outerwear combining technical jackets with Italian styling. Of particular fame is their M-65 field jacket, a jacket originally designed for the US army which was issued in 1965, hence the name. The Aspesi version is slimmed down and has a sleek silhouette, yet features many of the original specifications that the original did more than 40 years ago.
