Eiger Classic Alpine
With the 2015/16 ski season well underway, we made a timely discovery of a new British brand; Eiger Classic Alpine. It’s a clothing and accessories brand inspired by early British Alpine exploration.

Eiger Classic Alpine was founded by two friends; Chris Pratt and Tom Evans when they stumbled across an old photo album belonging to Chris’ grandmother- who was not only a championship skier but also a great photographer evidently.
Her album captured the sartorial elegance of the slopes in the 1950s and inspired Chris and Tom to question why modern skiwear offers little more than skin-tight technical base layers and garish ski jackets.
Their ambition was to recreate the timeless elegance of the classic alpine age. And the result; 100% Merino wool jumpers made in Leicestershire and leather accessories made in Melton Mowbray, England.

Many of Eiger Classic Alpine’s products are named after great British Alpine explorers. It’s definitely a brand to keep an eye on with their ambitious skiwear plans- and also, right now, their wool-jumpers (£178) are a perfect mix of style, quality and comfort for this season’s aprés ski.
