Iffley Road, the British crafted runwear brand founded in Spring 2013 have released more handsome new products. First up is a versatile short; the new style named Thompson, is a mid length (6 inch) short, with a slightly fuller cut than the brand’s other styles and constructed with an innovative mesh panel across the rise.
The fuller cut makes Thompson ideal for those with well-muscled legs or a heavier build. The 3 1⁄2 inch panel across the rise is made from light, breathable mesh for freedom of movement- ideal for the gym or warm weather running. Thompson combines traditional side pockets with a secure, zipped inner pocket on the right hip designed to fit smaller MPs players such as the iPod mini, car keys, credit cards etc. Available in Gravel Black and Night Sky (£70) and in a “Contours Man” print inspired by the founders’ preference for trail running (£73).
Another release is a striped version of their classic running vest, featuring white and green stripes on a navy base, made from bespoke drirelease® fabric- soft piqué, light-weight and highly wicking. They are slim cut with well-shaped armholes, which allow free movement without being too gaping (£53).
Available at iffleyroad.com from June 2016.
