Following it’s debut at London Collections Men in January, British clothing brand Jaegar have teamed up with designer Lou Dalton to release their Autumn Winter collection for 2016.
The collaboration focuses on functionality and takes inspiration from the pairs heritage. It has references to items worn by Ernest Shackleton and his team on their 1914 Antarctica Expedition combined with Lou Dalton’s signature contemporary yet classic aesthetic style.
Similar to those Shackleton carefully chose over a century ago- key pieces within the collection include a shower-proof stretch nylon hooded jacket, a nylon trench coat with zip out flannel gilet, a mixed-gauge sweater as well as a snood, balaclava and gloves.
Each piece has been meticulously designed to be worn on-the-go with each material holding its own technical ability, including thermocoolTM wool, stretch nylon and other double-faced light weight fabrics to ensure maximum comfort, flexibility and durability.
Both urban and rural environments are represented in the new lines colour palette as shades of navy, camel and charcoal grey are contrasted against rust and pale blue to show the difference between the two settings.
The Jaeger x Lou Dalton Autumn Winter collection is available both online and in store at Jaeger.
