Nike Zoom Speed Trainer 3

Ask any world class athlete; the key to physical progression – and its ultimate result: performance progression – lies in training. Nearly irrespective of sport, the essential operational moves of running, cutting and jumping prepare athletes for success in their next competition. Chris Robshaw, professional English rugby player; Ryota Murata, Japanese world champion boxer; and Robert Lewandowski, Polish football striker have been chosen to be the face of the new, versatile Nike Zoom Speed Trainer 3.

The shoes’ Circular Knit upper provides directional support in the upper on top of a low profile, stable platform. Made with Hexagonal Zoom Air units in the heel – the shoe is designed to deliver impact protection and ultra-responsive cushioning for every type of dynamic training.

Further ‘shoe tech’ includes a breathable circular knit in the forefoot providing directional strength and stretch, so you won’t roll off the platform when running, cutting quickly, breaking, sprinting or stopping.

The knit stretches to accommodate the foot which can expand in both length and width by up to 1.5 sizes when it plants. The circular knit provides stability when moving laterally while still allowing the foot to move, eliminating pressure hot spots.

A wide forefoot and heel provide the stability for training routines that include weight training and squats, while a multi-surface outsole provides traction for multidirectional movement.

“The word athleticism to me means, powerful, being explosive and energetic.” Chris Robshaw, professional English rugby player

The Nike Zoom Speed Trainer 3 will be available beginning September 30, at Nike.com and select retail locations.
