“What we really wanted was to go back to what we wore every day; chinos with stretch so we could move around as much as we needed, a couple of layers of T-shirts so you could take them off as we went higher and lower in altitude and light pack away jackets which offered an element of protection from wind and rain.” -Orlebar Brown founder Adam Brown

Outerwear takes centre stage for AW16 with a selection of jackets that reference sportswear. The Nicol, which we featured in October packs down into its own pouch, and is a travel popover made from flyweight Japanese nylon and has bonded seams making it fully waterproof. Added to this are the Ayton and Nolan lightweight diamond quilted jackets made from polyfill for increased insulation and the down-filled, waterproof Hendry and Hollins jackets lined with micro ripstop to restrict any internal tears.

The evolution of Orlebar Brown shirting can be seen on the polo shirts with two-tone collars on the Judd and Beake, printed piqué jersey and a new Oxford style, the Oliver, available in two fits, classic or tailored. There is also a range of warm sweats- pants and hoodies, which look ideal for relaxing in or travel. And finally, a range of accessories add the finishing touches to the seasonal offering with the Fiennes, the fully waterproof shoes you can swim in.
