Rag & Bone x Schott NYC – PERFECTO Leather Jacket

Since 2002, New York brand rag & bone have crafted a reputation for producing high quality clothing to wear every day. Today, they have partnered with fellow New Yorkers, Schott NYC, to announce a collaboration featuring a leather jacket designed and fashioned to embody both the rag & bone and Schott NYC brand tenets.

Utilizing these all-American underpinnings as the basis for the jacket, rag & bone has added their own brand heritage and craftsmanship into the fit and hardware.  The PERFECTO jacket features a military inspired zipper and hunting style red fleece lining, durably crafted to withstand wear and tear.

Elements of the brand’s classic bomber jacket can be seen throughout, with a bomber rib at the collar and darts on the back. For the body of the garment, rag & bone worked to create a more relaxed silhouette, adjusting to the brands DNA.

Based on the first motorcycle jacket ever created, the style is composed of chrome tanned, drum dyed mid-weight cowhide leather which protects the wearer, acting as a second skin.

The “D” pocket at the forefront of the jacket is strategically placed for ease of use, along with the Schott NYC signature biswing back panel which allows for freedom of movement. Other iconic features include the asymmetrical front zipper, an attached belt, snap down lapels and zippered sleeve cuffs.
