Schott NYC – 100 Years

Over the past century Schott NYC have been clothing iconic figures in various pieces of outerwear – which, themselves have become icons. From their bomber jackets to pea coats and shearling jackets, Schott manage to create garments that fit for almost any occasion and whatever the elements may throw at the wearer. To celebrate their 100th birthday, Schott have delved into their archive to bring back some of their most iconic jackets. Offering new colour-ways to the famous bomber and Perfecto biker jacket.

The classic Schott Pea Coat, created as the official uniform for soldiers of WWII, has been re-mastered and is now available in deep burgundy and bottle green, with a bold orange lining. The original Schott Perfecto biker jacket is available in two new colour-ways; navy blue and bottle green, which also extends to the Varsity jackets, detailed with contrasting leather sleeves.

From dressing the military in the 1940’s, to James Dean in the 1950’s through to the likes of The Ramones and Bruce Springsteen – what worked so well for fighter pilots and army officers, and then adopted by musicians and hollywood stars, still works well today for urbanites and modern adventurers alike.
