As the number of daylight hours increase, so do the number of runners- it’s a natural correlation, and a great sight. And even better, this season two of Ape’s favourite brands; Sunspel and Iffley Road, who have used innovative fabrics to create a collection of stylish, performance running wear. It’s a mix of stylish leisurewear fundamental to modern, active lifestyles. For each brand comfort, quality and performance are paramount, and this capsule collection delivers.
Each piece in the collaboration has been named after a running route along the Erewash Canal, situated close to Sunspel’s design studio and factory. The collection itself centres on Sunspel’s popular styles being reimagined in performance fabrics, and takes references from both the brightly striped sportswear of the Amateur Athletics Association and the substantial archive of mid 20th Century sportswear and underwear at Sunspel’s factory in Long Eaton.
