Aether Cone
We recently took delivery of the Aether Cone, touted as the thinking music player. It listens to your requests, picks up on your habits, and learns your tastes.
It’s a truly unique product, and right from the off Cone starts getting to know the user- which songs you like, and which you don’t.
There’s no screen- to jump to a similar song, just turn the dial a little or to play something completely different, give Cone a bigger spin.
However, for me- the best part, it takes requests. If you know what you want to hear, request a song and Cone will play it. Just press the centre button and request any song, artist, radio station or podcast.

It’s really very simple, but equally fantastic- you’ll never have to stop and search for music again, there’s always a right song- with access to Rdio’s 30 million songs. Listen to your old favourites or meet new songs. You’ll also have access to over 7,000 independent radio stations and podcasts.
Cone works extremely well, we advise facing Cone head on and politely requesting your next song. It also happens to look small, neat and very stylish- yet packs an almighty amount of volume.
