Released earlier in March; the new Audi SQ7 TDI is the first S model in the Audi Q7 range. It’s important because the Q7 we have always liked, it’s a handsome and powerful beast competing with other favourites; the Range Rover and BMW X5. Adding the S makes it more attractive.
Created with a world first electric powered compressor and new high-performance, 48-volt electrical subsystem and electromechanical active roll stabilisation, the 4.0 TDI engine generates 435 hp and 900 Nm of torque (yet remains remarkable efficient on fuel consumption).
The SQ7 accelerates from 0 to 62.1 mph in 4.8 seconds and delivers a top speed of 155.3 mph (governed). See the appeal?
In Europe, the Audi SQ7 TDI can be ordered now. It will be offered in Germany for a base price of €89,900, with a UK price TBC.
