Since 1994 Comme des Garçons Parfum has created over 75 different fragrances– many of which aren’t available today. However, launching May 2017, the brand is bringing back ten Comme des Garçons iconic scents, calling it an ‘Olfactory Library’. The collection will consist of the brands’ first Cologne launched in 1996 through to Series 6 Synthetic- all packaged in identical white coated bottles with colourful scent names- a nod to their original packaging.

History

1/ EAU DE COLOGNE

Eau de Cologne was created as a light, fresh and dynamic fragrance, a “feel good energy giving” scent. The bottom note is based on the original perfume “Eau de Parfum” with added citrus fruit and flower based fragrances. The underlying Amber gives it weight and strength. Finally comes the bouquet of freesia, magnolia and rose flowers. Perfumer: Mark Buxton.
