Summer is well and truly in full swing, and 2017 sees the launch of the Frescobol Carioca Underwater Collection, which evokes a fresh vision on the brand’s signature Brazilian sidewalk prints.
The famous tile walkways that line the iconic beaches of South America’s largest nation are brought to life through the Underwater Collection, introducing marine shades of blue, green, and orange reflecting the point where Brazilian scenic cliff landscape meets the warm ocean water.
These idyllic coves outside of the famed city of Rio de Janeiro became the source of inspiration for the collection, specifically designed for the Carioca man on the go.
Many of the pieces in the collection named after surrounding locations of Rio, including; Ipanema, Urca, Angra dos Reis and Fernando de Noronha. The namesakes of the trademark prints are renowned for their inherent beach lifestyle and their obsession with the sun, sea and sport.
The patterns and shades throughout the Underwater Collection display the mesmerising movements and reflections of the crisp blue Brazilian ocean.
