J.M. Weston Oxford Shoe Collection
Highly respected shoemaker J.M. Weston recently announced the release of a new oxford shoe. Moving beyond tradition to offer a subtle blend of leather and rubber.
Artistic director at J.M. Weston, Michael Perry, enjoys revamping the classics and adding a touch of modern style. The new 300 toe-cap oxford shoe is undoubtedly one to add to that list. Showing off smooth and suede calfskin over a rubber sole, this shoe brings a touch of urban elegance to any gentleman’s wardrobe. An iconic symbol of the brand since the 1930’s, this timeless men’s style fits the foot to near perfection.
Designed at the J.M. Weston factory in Limoges, the new release is constructed around a crepe rubber sole. While the shape of the shoe remains unchanged, the rubber sole is deliberately more casual, meaning the shoe can be worn in a wider variety of situations. Slick, minimalistic design is set off by the shoe’s shiny yet soft leatherwork. Blending modern style with authenticity, the 300 toe-cap oxford is a symbol of an independent man on the move, who enjoys the classic styles. Stepping into autumn colour-ways, the smooth calfskin is available in black and burgundy, while the suede calfskin comes in navy blue and camel.
