Lynx, to celebrate the launch of their new Lynx Peace range have partnered with Peace One Day – the international non-profit organisation behind World Peace Day, an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence, which is marked on the 21st September each year.

Ape to Gentleman are pleased to add our support (coverage) to the campaign, where alongside raising awareness for Peace One Day, Lynx is encouraging the nation to celebrate Peace through meaningful actions that benefit everyone. Sound good?

The campaign will breath through the arts – music, fashion or photography. Collaborations include music producer Naughty Boy, clothing giant ASOS and celebrated war photographer Matthew Lloyd. An example would be Lynx supporting Make Statements; a peace themed clothing range sold on ASOS with proceeds going to Peace One Day.

The Challenge

Embrace a peaceful attitude for a week – choosing to take a calm and peaceful approach when faced with difficult or frustrating situations. Examples of a peaceful action may include:

  • Giving someone a seat on the bus/train.
  • Helping an elderly person cross the road.
  • Remaining ‘peaceful’ and not getting stressed in situations where you normally might.
  • To find time in the week to de-stress and remain peaceful e.g. listen to music.
  • Take time to do activities that ‘chill’ you out; listening to music, going to art galleries, watch films or retail therapy.

Lynx Peace

The Lynx Peace scent is fresh from start to finish – starting out strong with longevity. Top notes include violet leaf captive, bergamot, mandarin, lemon peel and yuzu. Mid notes feature apricot nectar, violet flower and nutmeg, with a dry finish that merges cedarwood, golden amber and patchouli. Lynx worked with Ann Gottlieb to develop the fragrances with the world-class fragrance house, Firmenich.
