Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne

Taittinger’s Brut Réserve champagne is a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (60%) wines from over 35 different vineyards and vintages.

This high proportion of Chardonnay, and a minimum ageing of three years in the cellars, where it reaches the peak of aromatic maturity, gives this delicately balanced champagne, the excellent quality it has since become renowned for.

For this reason, Taittinger considers it an honour to produce a Brut champagne every year without exception.

The drink itself is golden yellow in colour, with fine bubbles and a subtle but noticeable foam.

To the nose, the champagne delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. it also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers such as hawthorn and acacia, and vanilla pod, offering excellent aromatic potential.

Upon tasting, the Brut Réserve is lively, fresh and in total harmony with the palate. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey, with a fine maturity that has been acquired over three to four years ageing in Taittinger’s cellars.

A champagne for any occasion, Brut Réserve can be enjoyed anytime. However, in keeping with the tradition of champagne being a symbol of festivity, this wine is considered by Taittinger to be the ideal beverage to accompany the celebrations of the happiest moments in a lifetime.
