Troubadour DryLine Leather Rucksack

Founded in 2013 by two former London financiers, Troubadour is Samuel Bail and Abel Samet’s quest to create the perfect bag.

The pair sought a functional, thoughtfully designed bag that would be as at home in boardroom and business travel scenarios as it would be on an active weekend away. They travelled across Europe, seeking out the best materials and people in order to achieve their goal.

The latest result of their efforts is the Troubadour DryLine Leather Rucksack – a completely waterproof leather bag, handcrafted in Italy.

The rucksack combines the brand’s new waterproof DryFibre leather and DryLine bonded construction in order to ensure the contents of the bag remain dry even in the wettest conditions. The clean design matches the minimalistic, functional nature intended for Troubadour products, resulting in a lightweight and durable bag intended to last for many years.

“The new DryLine rucksack takes our philosophy of performance design, a streamlined aesthetic and incredible craftsmanship to a new level. We spent many months perfecting our new DryFibre waterproof leather and DryLine bonded construction to create this lightweight rucksack that sets a new standard in waterproof performance. The combination of exceptional design, high-performance materials and innovative construction creates a strong yet light product that looks stunning and is a delight to use.” – Samuel Bail, Troubadour Co-Founder

As well as waterproofing, the bag is also created to provide maximum comfort for the wearer, using evaporative ventilation technology through the back panel, creating airflow to keep the wearer’s back cool and dry. The contoured shoulder straps are also specifically shaped in order to support the back and stabilise the bag.

A detachable padded sleeve can fit up to a 15-inch laptop, using protective light-guard technology to give a layer of safety to fragile objects, and as with all the brand’s products, the rucksack comes with a lifetime guarantee.
