Hair Transplant Review

Day 163

Reflecting back on Day 25, and the hair that appeared to be growing; most did fall out particularly to the sides but as before, the majority stayed at the front and continued to grow. Click the gallery below to see progress at Day 163 (around 6 months post-op), words below.

Day 163 is really the 6 month marker after my hair transplant and where my hair should start to thicken up according to Spex and Dr Alexander and it’s really showing signs of this. Particularly on my right side, and to the front. The left side isn’t as thick but during the last week it has made some excellent progress. Apparently hair grows at different rates so the right side making better progress than the left is nothing to be alarmed about.

In fact, I wrote the text above before re-examining my original photos throughout the journey so far, and wow- it really has grown back. I think it looks a little thicker in the photos versus real life to be honest but it’s still very exciting. I’ve had comments from friends and family who know I’ve had the procedure and they are most impressed- suggesting my hairline is back, and that I look younger.

I believe the next 3-6 months should be really interesting as my hair thickens out, so I’ll report back when there’s more to see- more of a notable change if you will. I suspect this should be in a month or so.
