Huawei Watch 2

Placing itself in a new category of wearable technology, the highly-anticipated Huawei Watch 2 has now arrived in the UK. Inheriting the design of the original, the second version adds new innovations in every category to help you lead an active lifestyle.

Tech giants Huawei have combined the connectivity of a smartphone, clever applications of a smartwatch and the performance coaching of a leading sports tracking device, putting them together in the form of a classical wristwatch.

With the 4G supported version of the Huawei Watch 2, you can leave your phone at home while out on the go and still respond to texts, calls and even order an Uber to take you home. VoLTE support and dual-mic noise elimination mean a stable and clear telephone experience is easy. As an extra, some carriers feature a one-number-multi-SIM service, meaning your watch and phone can share the same number.

Your health and exercise partner

The Huawei Watch 2 is also a fitness device that makes working out more efficient and effective. Built-in smart sensors collect key data on your activity, including distance, speed, steps, heart rate, calories, gait, route and more. One click opens the workout App in which users can enter a variety of different workout modes depending on the activity in question. Additionally, adding a choice of songs to match your workout is easy with the Google Play music app.

Watch design

The watch features a somewhat stylish classical wristwatch design while integrating the smart features and sport functions. The HD display is customisable to the user and offers multiple face designs. Huawei Watch 2 is also smaller and more compact that its predecessor, featuring a ceramic bezel that provides fine quality without losing comfort.

A smart experience

With smart OS and intuitive controls, the Huawei Watch 2 acts as a personal assistant to both iOS and android users. Speech recognition, touch control and voice instructions allow for quick and easy interaction. The battery has also been improved, lasting up to two days with regular use, up to 10 hours in ‘training mode’ and up to three weeks in ‘watch mode’.

Smart applications and independent connectivity mean you can go about your daily activities and not worry about leaving your phone behind, a luxury not many of us have.
