Reporting from Salon QP 2017

This year, the ninth edition of Salon QP, which took place on 2nd – 4th November 2017, was Ape to Gentleman’s first attendance at the UK’s foremost watch gathering.

It’s essentially a celebration of independent watchmakers from across Europe with more than 50 brands participating, predominantly smaller, independent houses. It’s a great opportunity to personally meet and converse with the watchmakers and creators behind the timepieces on display. For a full list of exhibitors, please click here. Highlights for Ape included getting up close and personal with Glashütte Original, Voutilainen, NOMOS Glashütte and Fears.

We enjoyed a variety of delicious drinks and food, alongside special exhibitions included Astronomy: Time & Space; Behind the Wheel; Black Tie, White Dial and Material Factors, representing how horology is mirrored across different mediums of craftsmanship.
