Troubadour Technical Collection – A New Approach to Luggage

A Brief Troubadour Goods History

Founded in 2011, Troubadour Goods specialises in luxury men’s bags and accessories. The brand stemmed from friends Samuel Bail and Abel Samet’s desire to find the perfect overnight bag; a bag that would be refined and stylish enough for business, but robust enough for a weekend getaway with friends. After two years spent travelling, researching and sourcing, the duo launched their “Weekender”: a modern minimalist bag, crafted from the finest vegetable tanned leather. It is a true celebration of traditional craftsmanship.

The New Technical Collection

And whilst their design ethos hasn’t change over the years, the pair have become more focused on taking those original, artisanal production techniques and adding a twenty-first century twist. The new Technical Collection embodies this: being modern and stylish, yet comfortable and practical; lightweight, but durable; and most importantly, sustainable.

Advanced Materials

Crafted from advanced materials, the times of a sweaty back teamed with your favourite bespoke suit are long gone, thanks to breathable Airflow back panels which are designed to keep you cool and dry in the height of summer or the depths of the tube. And it gets better… the shoulder straps are filled with memory foam – designed to follow the lines of the body whilst keeping the bag firmly in place, meaning no more sore shoulders. The bags are also fitted with Techguard Pockets – foam padded sections designed to safely store your delicate gadgets. Furthermore, there are fewer seams and stronger stitches – resulting in bags which are light and not bulky, but can still hold the kitchen sink. Lastly, the ZipGlide process ensures the zips glide like a dream and are guaranteed to last a lifetime. And even if they don’t, Troubadour offer a repair service which is free for the first 5 years.

All weather fabric

Given the current inclement weather conditions you’ll be please to know that the new collection also features Dryfibre waterproof leather – an all weather fabric, coupled with waterproof linings to ensure everything you put in these bags will stay dry – great for a rainy commute to work. Additionally, every fabric used is sustainable and sourced through BlueSign Fabrics – a system that produces textiles but without all the harmful substances, such as safer dyes and fewer toxins.

Availability

To conclude, the Troubadour Technical Collection is waterproof, lightweight, comfortable and engineered to perform functionally. Not to mention decidedly handsome. The Technical Collection is available at troubadourgoods.com now, we recommend you take a look.
