The collection sees swimsuits unexpectedly criss-crossing with ready-to-wear essentials, helping you to transition effortlessly from slope to spa.

Whether your ideal winter break is centred around snowy heights, heated pools, or a legendary apres-ski, this wardrobe is designed to be worn time and again, and to be ready for any possibility.

The prints throughout the collection are inspired by spirit of the 70s Alpine set, and based on an upbeat and humorous aesthetic.

Created in 1971 by Fred Prysquel, a photographer and motorsports journalist, Vilebrequin is a French brand specialising in both swimwear and ready-to-wear. Prysquels passion for racing led to the naming of the brand, which is the French word for crankshaft.

Vilebrequin was born from a sketched cut out of a swimsuit Prysquel made from a paper table cloth in a café in Saint-Tropez. Inspired by the swimsuits of surfers at the time, it was based on a longer boxer short style, a departure from the shorter swimsuits that were far more common in this period.

Bright, eye-catching, and quick to dry in the sun, the design soon became a hit on the beaches of Saint-Tropez. The model later became known as the Moorea, the brand’s signature suit.

Today, it has more than 150 stores all over the world, including in Saint-Tropez, Paris, Beverly Hills, Cape Town, Milan, New York City, and many more.
