Further to our Axel Arigato sneaker feature, the Swedish contemporary lifestyle brand has further expanded its offering of clean lines, minimalist style and modern essentials with the launch of Autumn/ Winter 2017- “Essencu”.

The latest capsule works as a complement to the prints and bold graphics of a contemporary wardrobe. Inline with the Axel Arigato minimalist Scandinavian/Japanese aesthetic this capsule is all about low-key quality apparel.

Essencu also marks the launch of caps as a new product category for Axel Arigato, alongside hoodies, sweats and tees building on the strong foundation laid by their 2 previous capsules launched earlier in 2017.

We managed to get our hands on the Essencu Sweatshirt in black cotton-jersey which is exceptionally comfortable. At £105 its an attractive price-point for such a well made garment, we loved the minimal branding on the sleeve (see image, top). In addition we received the Kuro Trousers in black wool, made with a relaxed yet tailored (in the right places) fit- with aa slim fit leg, central leg creases and an elasticated drawstring waistline. Priced at £130 they bridge the gap of extreme comfort but with style; smart-joggers, ideal for wearing almost anywhere.
