Tanqueray No. TEN & The Citrus Garden
The weather’s been warm, and no doubt gents everywhere have been dousing themselves liberally with citrus-based scents in an attempt to stay fresh in the rising temperatures. With freshness in mind, we gladly welcome the Citrus Garden to London, a new pop-up location for refreshing libations created with the appealing citrus botanicals of Tanqueray No. TEN gin.
Perched atop the Trafalgar Hotel, the Citrus Garden will be serving up a custom-made selection of 10 extraordinary cocktails, created by some of the finest bartenders around. On a recent reconnaissance our staff keenly consumed several glasses of Old Tom Fizz while taking in the outstanding skyline views, though the eclectic offerings will ensure all palettes are satisfied. Dubbed ‘The Perfect 10’, the inspiration for these cocktails revolves around the small-batch-crafted flavours of Tanqueray No. TEN, which has regularly won awards since its launch fourteen years ago. With a striking new Art Deco bottle design, it certainly makes an impression.
For those feeling adventurous, Wednesday evenings will play host to masterclass sessions at the pop-up that introduce attendees to the craftsmanship behind Tanqueray No. TEN and several of the cocktails on offer at the Citrus Garden, on-site at the Trafalgar Hotel until the end of September.
With temperatures set to stay balmy for a while to come, and our desire to stay fresh in the heat ongoing, the Citrus Garden and Tanqueray No. TEN will provide the perfect pairing to revive and refresh during the enduring summer warmth.
