Despite (clearly) being advocates of internet-based content, providing a plethora of information – instantly, there are occasions when reading print is a welcome change. Naturally, Ape to Gentleman are particularly selective with which print magazines we lay our eyes on. One of which, releasing in the UK on July 24th and the rest of the world on August 15th – is JOSHUA’s Magazine.
Ape to Gentleman were fortunate enough to receive an advanced press copy, and we can confirm the magazine is now atop of our print reading list. Covering Fashion, Well-Being, Sport, Art, Design, Motoring, Drink, Food & Technology, JOSHUA’s Magazine is edited with precision, evident in its content, imagery and physical design.
JOSHUA’s Magazine caters for, “An Aspirational Lifestyle” – but pleasingly, not in an elitist manner. Features include a visit to Baxter of California’s Barber & Shop; Baxter Finley. A tour of the Vertu factory and an interview with Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki of Maison Kitsuné and SOPHNET.
Styled more like a book than a magazine, the publication is a pleasure to read – and a welcome change to the norm. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
JOSHUA’s Magazine will be available worldwide; Issue ONE will be available in LA, New York, Milan, Paris and throughout the UK. Issue TWO will see extended distribution to Brazil, Canada, Australia, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Holland, Singapore, Taiwan, Belgium and Dubai.
